Oxygene8 was and is the musical brainchild of longtime collaborators Linda Cushma and Francesco (Frank) D'Angelo. Frank has re- teamed/re- joined with Linda to reactivate and bring into completion the original impetus and artistic vision for Oxygene8. Oxygene8 is the artistic synthesis of progressive and experimental rock, employing odd time signatures,complex arrangements,unique sonic textures,and Linda's sometimes surreal,often times quirky,but poignant stream of consciousness lyrics. Over the years as Linda and Francesco have grown as people and so has their music and influences. Linda and Frank are now joined by Anima Obscura drummer, Michael Petiford. Claudio Cordero and Kiko King continue with their involvement and as members of the band. Longtime friend, Tim Alexander always has a longstanding open invitation with the band.
Oxygene8 have begun writing new material for their new Oxygene8 release for 2010!!!!! Stay tuned

OXYGENE8 is announcing its return to France for Festival CRESCENDO 2007!
OXYGENE8 released FREAK OF CHANCE earlier this year to strong international response.
O8 is an incredibly dynamic trio of musicians featuring Linda Cushma with her atypical approach to Chapman Stick and vocals, explosive drummer, Kiko King and stunning guitarist, Claudio Cordero. In concert, they perform songs from the new album, FREAK OF CHANCE, as well as several selected compositions from internationally acclaimed debut album, POETICA.
Tim Alexander, drummer for PRIMUS and ATTENTION DEFICIT, bass player Tony Levin from PETER GABRIEL, KING CRIMSON, and the TONY LEVIN BAND, and Guillermo CIDES, celebrated Argentinean Stick player, all join OXYGENE8 on the new album, FREAK OF CHANCE. Guillermo Cides is often a guest player in live OXYGENE8 concerts.
OXYGENE8 is honored to be playing internationally. They performed at THEATER MONTANSIER and PROG'SUD FESTIVAL 2007 in France and are scheduled to play concerts in South America, Mexico, Japan, Europe and the U.S. in 2007-2008.
OXYGENE8 guitarist, CLAUDIO CORDERO, is also the guitarist of celebrated bands, CAST of Mexico and MATRAZ of Chile. KIKO KING is the former drummer of CAST and also plays in MEXICALI prog/fusion band, EZOO. Kiko's drumming reminds one of a raw and youthful Tim Alexander. Claudio is cutting edge loose with his own solo album, ENLACE, and is a guitarist often compared to Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, and LINDA CUSHMA is quirky and artistic, an exquisite freak of music from the heart.
